It is insane to me that the current job market still considers colored hair or tattoos a reason not to hire a person. I can understand a little bit how a piercing can be seen as a safety issue, though I dont see where where it makes sense to apply that any more than would to not hire people with fingers for the same reason. Whats the excuse for tattoos/piercings? Are we still trying to pretend that a very large percentage of the population doesnt have them? How about hair dye? Its cool to have your shitty orange blonde or even that weird purple color, but no on my amazing unicorn/rainbow awesomeness? Its time to get over it, people...
