It is interesting how I am discovering a very empathitic trait pattern I have held...where two very different thoughts/feelings on the same topic or memory from a past experience cause confusion inside. It did not make sense to me! Yes, it is called a dichotomy and it feels like you are inside a game of jekyll and hyde that you never wanted to play in the first place. Honestly, it creates a cognitive dissonance..the inability to hold a consistent view. I still have waves of this happening....and I see them now.....and I am beginning to understand and recognize why!
