It is not always the case that everyone enjoys their day as much - TopicsExpress

It is not always the case that everyone enjoys their day as much as they should. There are times when you can tell that a player goes home not 100% happy with how the games went. As a site owner it is something you have to live with. You will never please everybody………or can you? I think, on Sunday, we may have just succeeded. We have started putting games to a vote and we go with the majority, knowing that those who voted against will probably not enjoy the game as much. You hope, by the end of the day, everyone found most of the games to their suiting and didn’t go home too disappointed. From the feedback on Sunday I don’t think there was anyone who didn’t have a brilliant day. We did. All of us. The day was easy to run and was played with good humour and great sportsmanship. That’s all we ask of our players. The SBDs produced more fascinating gameplay, punctuated by the obligatory girlie screams and the sound of grown men crying. The younger players are becoming more confident in those intense battles and some are proving to be top class airsofters. One of our regular players, Paul, made a point that, when looking back through the headcam footage, it is obvious that every player has upped their game and grown in confidence and skill when playing CQB. This is good news as it shows that players are getting the most out of their days with us. It’s no secret that Tom and Jack play hard and encourage players to play just as hard so it is very rewarding to them when their efforts show results. There is no magical, easy way to becoming a great CQB player. Practice and training is the key. Tom and Jack train regularly and they get a lot of practice simply by running an airsoft site. With this in mind we are to host training days run by C.A.G. who are a group of serving specialists and with whom Tom, Jack and a few regulars train with. It is clear, in my view, that these training days pay for themselves massively in confidence and skills gained and therefore more enjoyment to be had on gamedays. Very many thanks to everyone who shared their day with us and I look forward to more gamedays like Sunday. Jack, Tom, Zoe, Jane and Will. Next training day is Sunday 2nd November. Fee is £10 with no lunch provided. Start time 10am finish 4pm. The next game is on Sunday 9th November. Game fee is £25 including lunch Gun hire is £15 including 500 rounds Please email [email protected] to book your place. https://facebook/events/1394321127480050/
