It is not every day that a couple gets married on a plane in the middle of the vast sky. I sat by the nicest lady, Anna Griffin Huff on our flight to KC with Southwest Airline. Like myself, Anna is a cancer survivor and we bonded over this. We became instant friends during our 4 hr flight from Seattle. While being served sodas by the staff, Anna mentioned she was getting married to the handsome guy, Dennis Schank, just a few rows in front if us. The flight attendants bought them both a drink to say congratulations from Southwest Airlines, but they didnt stop with just this. The flight attendants felt badly that Anna was unable to sit beside her fiance`, due to the packed flight. To have some fun and honor the couple (set to marry the following day), the attendants arranged a little mock wedding ceremony, complete with accessories. Flight Attendants, Judi, Megan, and Jennifer created head prices made out of pretzel bags and toilet paper. They made the bride a little bouquet from Kleenex and a Tampon. The attendants narrated, sang, and were bridesmaids. Attendant Judi acted as the minister and married them. It was so much fun to see and Anna and Dennis enjoyed a kiss to seal their vows. When the plane landed, the newlyweds were given a bottle of wine, compliments of Southwest Airlines. What a classy airline! Share and repost this cute video I took, AND fly with Southwest because they really showed they go the extra mile to make flights a wonderful, personal experience. 5 stars!
