It is not in the powers of Mr President to ensure that Nigerians - TopicsExpress

It is not in the powers of Mr President to ensure that Nigerians determine who leads them, as he does not have the powers to force any Nigerian to vote. In my opinion, the only thing Mr President can do is to ensure a free environment for voters by leaving out his military command line in our electoral process. But I doubt if he will because he has already gotten INEC to support his military influence in our electoral process and for Attahiru Jega not to see anything wrong in military deployment and harassment in the electoral process does not appear like he will guarantee the free expression of the peoples will. I lost hope in and trust for Mr President when I discovered he is good at double speaking and his bare faced denials of his commitments give me a saddening impression of his lost trustworthiness. His lack of firmness makes him vulnerable to feeling unsecured and panicky. He is made in the mould of the Late Sani Abacha, who because he thot he was a lesser man acted with impunity. I want to see a Nigerian leader in the measure of the status of African Statesmen like Mandela, like Kenyatta, like Lumumba...people who see their lives as tied to the lives of their people, not one who will wake up from slumber and self deceit after 14 days of the abduction of his daughters by rapists and murderers. So if Mr President wants my confidence and trust back, let him not pretend to care more for the people by enslaving them by his misadventures, let me walk out of Aso Rock, throwing in his towel for bn clueless, uninspiring and defective in governance. He can go home and try his new shoes on the soil of Otueke, upon which he also walked bare feet. That way, he can count his blessings, naming them one by one. Critically speaking or maybe harshly though, as some might adjudge, I am of the opinion that if the tool bearers of the PDP see us all as their brothers and sisters, they would after 16 years of experimenting with governance and making a 16 year experience at democracy a continuing nascent one voluntarily relinquish power and ask Nigerians to try other people. If you can not, let another try. So let no one try to deceive me, Mr President cannot ensure that Nigerians will determine their leaders, rather, like it happened in Ekiti State, an experience which the Ogbeni refused to concede to, when in Ekiti, the deployment of military men scared off potential voters, leading to the allocation of votes to the toutly Fayose. Nigerians voters must like the Osun voters come out enmass against military parades and vote out this unfortunate regime we put in place when we mistakenly expected the breath of fresh air for the present stench and shoeless lies. Nigerians must know that to determine who is President of Nigeria from May 29 2015, every voter must queue up to vote. If 30 voters present themselves for accreditation in a register of 500 or more, the 30 will vote but the remaining 470 or more, according to the extension permitted per polling unit, who did not vote will not have their rolls left blank. The 470 or more votes will be allocated by INEC to the PDP, bcos majority of INEC Commissioners, National and Resident, are all recruits of the PDP. I am talking as a four year appointee of the INEC, serving Ephraim Akpata until his death and part of Abel Guobadias regime. This is how elections are rigged and what many do not know is that ballot box snatching is always carried out by the opposition to prevent ballot stuffing by the ruling party. The opposition snatch ballot boxes while PDP stuff ballot boxes. This was how Ayo Fayose won Ekiti State.
