It is not often that I use my Facebook page to ask for prayer – and even now, I feel a little weird about it, but whatever. Here I go. A number of times since I started writing publicly, people have suggested that I should consider writing a book. I have always been flattered by that comment, but I never quite felt that it was time to do it. I think it may actually be time to start heading that direction. But its not like I can just snap my fingers and put a book out there – it has to be written, edited, and published (as you know, that publishing part has been an insurmountable obstacle for many an author). As it turns out, this week, a totally legit publisher wants to talk to me about my ideas for a book. Its just a conversation, and it may lead to nothing; but in my mind, it is one little step closer to dealing with the reality that it may be time to start working on that book. If you have a little extra time on your hands, could you just pray that if I write something, I will write it for the glory of God and with a heart to love the people who read it? I would appreciate that.
