It is quite windy so the snow is a meter from my front door this morning (still so dark at 0730!) This winter is nice. Very mild temperatures around zero, regular light dustings of snow intermixed with rain so the city is dusted white but the roads are not a muddy slushy mess. The locals dont like it so much because the ground hasnt frozen hard. This means the parks are wet and muddy underfoot. As a Melbournian ... this is normal
