It is really almost impossible to overstate how great it is to have friends. This week, had calls from mentors in Houston and Valparaiso, was brought or got invited for coffee more times than I can mention, received notes and messages, hugs and smiles. Ecumenical colleagues from the Episcopal and Methodist parishes stopped by and called. Friends took me on walks. Have been fed sandwiches, and drawn pictures. I was reminded, just in case I had forgotten, how good people can be. Its a good prelude to the holidays next week, so in the spirit of next week, I say simply, Thank you!
