It is said that in Fulcanellis unpublished third book, Finis Gloriae Mundi, that it is pointed out that the first book of the Bible is Genesis, wherein the world is destroyed and reborn by water, and the final book is Revelations, wherein the world is destroyed and reborn by fire. After the purification by fire the Golden Age, there is no longer any religion, only the direct experience (a belief common with Traditionalism of which Evola mentions in his work on alchemy). If we combine these two symbols, that of fire and water we have the symbol of the Sun, and of Tiphareth, the golden sphere wherein the Philosophers Stone is said to be realized. Jean Dubuis stated this is the true door to the inner temple, the doorway wherein the Apocalypse is realized and the Golden Age Restored.
