It is scientifically proven now. :-)) Singing Faiz gets you noticed.:-)) Stumbled upon a Pakistani singer, Meesha Shafi, singing the famous Faiz Nazm, Dasht-e-Tanhai which was made more popular by Iqbal Bano. After listening to this song, I went gaga over Ms. Shafi. Then I realised that I have seen Ms. Shafi twice earlier in the movies- The Reluctant Fundamentalist and Bhag Milkha Bhag. However, I had no impressions of her from these movies. This time round I realised that she is a leading musician, model and actress in Pakistan. She is now almost top of the heap of the young actresses I like. Second only to Ms. Johansson. And followed by Ms. Fakhri and Ms. D Cruz. Here is the song where I found her.
