It is so funny to think back to last year this time. I was learning how to dress myself, be independent with limited use of my arms, emptying 4 drains, was about to be let go from a position I had held for 15 years. Fast forward to today! I am back to full speed, back to accounting, I even did the 3rd quarter taxes, no fear of chemo-brain, looking forward to a weekend packed with friends & family, a special birthday party for my Michaels 5th & Bruces 1st birthday. My complete independence back. Yes cancer left me disfigured-but IT LEFT ME!!!! Life is better than good, its bright & beautiful.
