It is so sweet when the opportunity to pay it forward presents itself.....we were riding the train tonight at the mall when I saw a couple with three little ones sitting on a bench nearby. I heard mom tell them that they would ride the train some other day and an educated guess would be that they couldnt afford it (a little pricey) the same way I couldnt afford alot of extras when my kids were little. I was watching every dime. So when we pulled in to the station I paid the conductor to take them for a ride but wait until I got down the mall a little bit so they wouldnt know who it was.....he did and when I looked back and saw their smiling faces it touched my heart but what struck me the most was my grandson. When we got into the shoe store and we were trying on shoes and I bent over to see if his fit he leaned down and whispered in my ear that was really cool grandma. We forget all to often that our little ones watch everything we do.....
