It is sometimes hard to believe that the shy, timid, fiscally lacking child that I was is the woman that I am today. I have truly embraced the fact that when you live from your heart, you are wealthier than any millionaire thst grinds solely for the coin... I have accepted that not everyone has your best interest at heart and to focus inward on doing Gods will for me rather than focusing outward to please man.... I have learned to love me MYSELF. My Father always loved me, my family always loved me, my small circle always loved me, my teachers always loved me...but I did NOT always love me. Thank GOD that I am appreciative of the person I am. A work in progress on ALL levels, but a good person with good intentions and actions to back them up. I have listened to the voice that says it is better to be respected than to be liked. I could not care less for societys approval...what I will have is personal respect and the right to hold folks accountable Thank you, Kim Williams Hunter, James Hunter, Mr. Dudley Sr. For allowing me to take the message of RESPECT and MENTORING to another audience. - Connie Grier
