It is sour to say, but ethology, rather than science that helps human animals to understand other animals, their emotions, their minds, their needs, it is often become science that helps human society for the control and modification of the behavior of other animals, for anthropocentric purposes. We must give new dignity to ethology. È amaro dirlo, ma letologia, più che scienza che aiuta gli animali umani a capire gli altri animali, le loro emozioni, le loro menti, i loro bisogni, è spesso diventata scienza che aiuta la società umana per il controllo e la modifica del comportamento di altri animali, per fini antropocentrici. Dobbiamo dare nuova dignità alla etologia.
