It is strange that the two choices of metaphors that humans use to model reality in their minds are so crude. On the one hand, a relatively meaningless set of inexplicable physical accidents produce sentience in a single vehicle in timespace. One the other, a creator-god simply ‘implements’ the universe like a transcendental commandment from the root of spacetime. Frankly, given the general character of reality proximate to Earth, neither of these is particularly likely. In fact, a simple examination of the obvious facts leads to a problematical conjecture: we have the wrong metaphor for -what reality is-. And not in a small way, either. I would suggest that if this were not the case, the science we think of as physics would become an extension of a science of something like intelligence. The reason? The forces in the universe resemble forces that might be involved in the most astonishingly sophisticated relational intelligence network we ever failed to imagine. And our minds, with which, for some reason, we continuously mismodel their nature and sources, are actually localized instances of direct participation in this phenomenon. So yes, I am saying that the strange identities in mathematics and physics... i,c,pi, and so on... light, time, space, and so on... are not exactly physical. I have strong reason to suspect that what we understand as physical ‘reality’ is not real in the ways we suppose, but is, rather, the -aftereffect- of unthinkably sophisticated relational symphonies in dimensions we have difficulty modeling. It looks like the forces of physics are the forces resulting from the activities of the (metaposition) of intelligence. The reality we take as physical is actually the -standing reflection- of another set of realities far too chaotically diverse and astonishing for our ordinary models to allow or survive.
