It is surprising that ethnic expansionism is still taking place in modern Nigeria. Who is living in the past and thinks that you can take over a land by war at this time of our civilization? It is agreed that there is population pressure and land availability for certain agricultural activities is decreasing. For example, the land for cattle grazing will be shrinking as the population increases. The solution is not to kill and pursue the land owners so that you can take over their land. Except you live in a world of your dreams, you should know that it will not work. The best option is the respective state Government to introduce their nomadic population to a more sedentary and intensive livestock farming. No modern nation will allow nomadic farming where cattle will just invade people’s farm. It is prehistoric and will not happen in any Western nation. The Federal Government cannot allow another insurgency in another name in the North West and North Central regions. It is time impunity is ended and all who kills by the gun die by the gun. Before I stop, how can we say there is no technology to scan our forest and mountain areas and identify sports with human activities, investigate them and where there are criminal activities, eliminate them? These people are able to infiltrate Government and Security outfits and so how can we not use intelligence too to infiltrate these people and get first hand reports which can be used to manage them?
