It is that time of year again where The Austin Chronicle is collecting votes for the “Best In Austin”. We hope that you will take a few minutes and vote for Adams House under the Architecture and Lodging Section for Best Bed and Breakfast. You do not have to live in Austin to cast a vote. The deadline is Monday July 21st. We would like to give you a recap of some of our accomplishments in 2013. In June we received the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for our continued 5 star rating by our guest’s online reviews. We were published in Experience Austin & the Hill Country Coffee Table book which was released in July and for sale on Amazon. Also that month we were listed in the Tribeza magazine as one of the Top 10 in Hyde Park. Adams House was then voted in September as the Best Bed & Breakfast in Austin for the second year in a row thanks to you. We released our own cookbook in October named Our Texas Table featuring over 130 of our favorite recipes. We have had so much fun sharing our recipes and getting cooking updates from guests who have purchased the book. In November Liz and Eric were one of eight innkeepers featured on the front page header by BBOnline. On top of all that we also started on a major renovation to our bungalow which has required lots of our time and energy but we are excited to be moving forward with a great improvement to Adams House B&B! We strive to continue to improve our business and are so thankful to meet so many wonderful people in our line of work. Thank you for your consideration of Best Bed & Breakfast in Austin for 2014.
