Relatedly while colonialism has rendered the continent more vulnerable to certain factors which hinder accelerated improvement and developmental progress, Africans have been and are still poised as “health-conscious” and health embracing human beings despite what the media and sensationalist appeals to “help Africa” might lead one to believe.
