It is true that most of us will draw out more than we paid - TopicsExpress

It is true that most of us will draw out more than we paid in....however, to get a true estimate one must include the inflation rate in the calculation. I went to work in 1965....in those days $1 would buy what takes $7.55 to buy the same today. I made $1.25 hour which equates to $9.43 today. I paid my dues. That means if I draw about $1200 today but paid in the years prior...my real buying power compared to dollars I paid is divided by 7.55 and really equals $158.00 per month. Not getting rich, that is for sure.
