It is understandable why so many folks want out of Malaysia. Sarawakians are so tired of being put down by the Government of BN and UMNO. It is not fair that Sarawak only receives 5% of its oil and gas royalty. No wonder Sarawakians are ready to wrest free from the tight grip of the Federal Government. This is easier said than done! How do these groups propose to take Sarawak out of Malayisa. What if the Federal Government decided to use military force against them, can they guaranteed the safety of us Sarawakians? The notion of secession could be considered treasonous and contrary to the 18/20 Point Agreements, signed before the formation of Malaysia. Therefore, pulling out of Malaysia is not a doable proposition and cannot be accomplished within the next few years. What is doable and realistic is for Sarawak to remain peaceful and be autonomous is by changing the Government, which is replacing Barisan Nasional with Pakatan Rakyat through the ballot box.
