It is unfathomable to believe that 12 years ago today the world changed forever. As I reflect on that moment in time I recall a young woman who was idealistic and believed that the world was a good, generous place. My thoughts have been tempered by the knowledge that some are driven by hatred and live by the credo of harming others rather than harnessing their energies for the good of all. So, on this anniversary of September 11th, as we sit on the brink of yet another conflict in the Middle East I send to those in that region of the world my thoughts and prayers for peace, enlightenment and tolerance so that we may all regain some of that innocence we lost on the beautiful September morning not so long ago....
