It is very sad about Iran, the only country in the region not to attack Israel in 1948, 1967 or 1973. While almost a million Jews fled the other Arab countries from 1949-51 (The refugees no one mentions), Jews lived safely in Iran well into the seventies. Iran was a sophisticated nation with great universities and hospitals, western in thought and dress, and secular in government - that is, until the college kids were snookered into supporting the Ayatollah’s revolution. Ive spoken with some of those folks, everyone now realizes it was a huge mistake; but there is no going back. Iran is an Islamic national prison, in which the helpless Persians now find themselves. Jimmy Carter could have prevented Iran’s fall, but didn’t. I notice that Americas young folks are also being brainwashed and literally becoming anti-American, something I never thought I would see. Theres a lot to be said for ingratitude. For a while, Bible teachers were puzzled because both Iran and Turkey had been swell pals of Israel, yet the Bible includes them in the list of nations that will attack Israel in the latter days. We saw Iran go dark in the 70s, & it is happening in Turkey right now.
