Phillips, also known to her peers as DD/Gabby/Antiguan SoundGirl, is a PHENOMINAL woman and entrepreneur. Ive known DD for a few years. We actually attended the Antigua Girls’ High School together and she is definitely a force to be reckoned with. This talented young lady is the proud CEO & founder of ‘Sistah Souljahs’ Graphix & Entertainment. She specializes in Flyers/Brochures/Business Cards/Logos/Website Design and much more. When she is not glued to her computer screen working on her clients’ deigns, you’ll find her making mix tapes and entertaining at various parties/events. Oh yes...you heard right!! DD is a versatile International DJ, currently based in Antigua & Barbuda. She emerged on the scene at the age of 17 and has continued to be an instrument in the proliferation of ALL genres of music on a global scale. ‘Selecta DD’ specializes in Dancehall, Reggae, Roots, Rockers, Hip-Hop/Rap, R&B, Neo Soul, Disco, Funky House, Pop, Alternative, Jazz & much more. “As an advocate for self development, advancement and empowerment, I am continuously involved in non-profit initiatives and educational entrepreneurship courses. My mission is to continue to grow and develop as an artist using my skills in all genres - advertising and illustration - as a medium for inspiration and self expression,” says Damara. Apart from her job, Damara loves to cook and frequent the beach (true island girl).
