It is with a huge sense of loss that I announce the end of one of the most fulfilling relationships of my life. I had put off ending this love affair for some time, but I now know its time to call it quits as he was getting well past it and was even older than me. The Daily Bowler - my companion for more years than I can count, is possibly past even my attempts at repair. A Hat that gave so much - sheltered me from the deathly attempts of the sunshine upon my life, protected me from the worlds scorn should they find out I actually have a monks tonsure, and didnt not mind one whit my casual flings with other delightfully lovely hats. And even put up with the fact I had two other bowlers waiting to take his place. I shall miss you, my love, but you shall still hang with pride of place among my hats and in my memories. Mwah mwah!
