It is with a very heavy heart we share the news that our sweet Ozzi crossed the rainbow bridge today. Last night she took a turn for the worse and began having trouble breathing, she also developed pneumonia and had a systemic inflammation in her lungs. They gave her oxygen and antibiotics but sadly her body was too tired to continue fighting. At noon our volunteer showed up, Ozzi was still offering kisses but she could barely open her eyes and she was struggling to breathe. So they made the very hard decision to end her suffering and let her go in peace with love surrounding her. We want to thank everyone involved who helped make Ozzis final days full of love and those who shared, donated and kept their paws crossed for her.
