It is with great regret that I have been informed that Furness Rangers have been excluded from this seasons competitions. The league will now operate with 10 teams instead of 11. All teams that have played Furness Rangers will have their points from that game removed from the league standings and the league table updated. I have completed the fixtures so that by end of 7th December all teams will have completed the first half of the fixtures (weather permitting). This will bring us in line to draw the Knock Out Cup and The Soccer Bar Cup as we will have a clear view of the league at the half way stage.This means some teams will not be playing certain dates in order for other teams to catch up. The top 5 teams in the league will compete for The Knock Out Cup and the bottom 5 teams will compete for The Soccer Bar Cup. The format of the competitions will be decided at the next meeting as will the draw for the Jamie Bainbridge Memorial Trophy which ALL teams will be competing for if they choose to (possible fee for entry was mentioned at last meeting dated 29th October but has yet to be confirmed and will be discussed also at the next meeting). Please, if anyone sees a mistake with these fixtures please inform me ASAP. I have carefully checked all previous results and remaining fixtures and think ive got it right with no fixtures that have already been played between each team (if anyone spots any, again, please inform me ASAP). The match between Barrow Island A and Crofters FC that was abandoned a couple of weeks back, will be replayed (7th Decembers only game), after being informed by Tony Callister (league secretary). Once again, sorry its late lads but trying to eliminate Furness Rangers from the fixtures without putting teams up against teams they have already played previous this season proved to be painstakingly tedious (hence the late post on here). Good luck to all teams for the remainder of the first half of fixtures :) Updated league table to follow.....
