It is with great sadness that we announce the Death of an exceptional Scouter and long time Friend of the June Norcross Webster Scout Reservation, William Caruso, Bill was the Scoutmaster of Troop 80 in Taftville for many years and supported many Camp Projects with his talents. Bill was a fixture on the Council & Mohegan District Training Committees for many years. In 2000, one of our War Canoes was named in his honor the HMS Caruso sails the waters of Goss Pond each Summer. Our thoughts go out to his family and they should know that he will be missed in the Scouting Community.
