It is with great sadness that we have to announce the departure of Chase Reid and James OBrien, two of the original founders, from American Virtual. The two have been heading this virtual airline since Fall of 2012 and due to real life commitments and each entering their final years of study they both no longer will able to qualify to continue to move this airline forward. The two will be entered into the original founders class and will remain on the roster as honorary members. In the time between now and their official departure we will be searching for a new Chief Executive Officer and new Chief Operating Officer. The following are expected for the people who intend to take this virtual head on as their own: a) must have VATSIM account in good standing b) good reputation around the community c) intentions to move this airline forward for years to come d) knowledge of aviation e) ability to tackle obstacles with the best decision f) able to put out a good amount of time and money g) cooperate, inspire, and direct members and staff h) look towards innovation and building If you believe you are ready and able to become the face(s) of this airline, please send an e-mail to [email protected] or [email protected] Its been a great journey, a fun one, and weve learned lots of amazing things but its time to pass the baton on to someone who can devote time and energy to ensuring a great future for this virtual airline.
