It is with great sadness that we note the passing of the founder of the Clearwater Festival ,Mr Pete Seeger has left this earthly realm, and gone to join his beloved Toshi, whom we lost last summer. To say that Pete was remarkable is just the beginning of the praise that we can heap upon him, he was a joy and a gift, the leader of a movement, the folk movement, which he himself helped create, along with pioneers such as Woody Guthrie. I am and feel blessed to have become part of the festival he created with the goal of helping the environment, helping us, and helping us help one another, all the while enjoying the music. Petes gift to us was , and always will be, The Power Of Song !!!
