It is with tears in my eyes as I, Jansson, hereby announce that I have taken the decision to quit as drummer in Devilicious. Ive lost inspiration, motivation, energy, and above all, the joy as the drummer in the band. So yesterday, April 3, 2014, I sat down with the other band members and told my decision. Ive given everything I could until now, but feel that I have no more to give Devilicious. For a long time I have carefully been thinking and trying to see a future for me in the band, but now I´ve come to the conclusion that because I no longer have the right passion for the band and what we do, it will be best for both me and the others to go our separate ways. I have been a member of Devilicious for 4.5 years and I am proud of what we accomplished together and I do not regret anything. The years we have worked together have been both painful and demanding for all involved. Sometimes a lot of frustrations over the hard work, but at the same time, there have always been tons of laughter and joy that has been absolutely fantastic and entertaining. Thats what I will always remember from my time in the band. I love the other members of Devilicious because they are my best friends and weve always supported each other for better or worse. So what feels most at heart is that I will not be able to meet my close friends in and around Devilicious as much as you do when you work together in a band that´s like a family. But my decision stands and I wish the very best for my brothers in Devilicious and that we continue to be friends forever. Thanks for all the laughs you given me and the years we had together.
