It is with the BIGGEST broken heart that I have to write another email like this so soon after losing Wylie less than 3 weeks ago.... Last night around 10:30 Flossie earned her wings. It is believed she had a brain tumor and up until last night was doing really well with some steroids and I was really not expecting her to decline as fast as she did Tuesday and it was totally heart wrenching to have to go through this once again after Wylie just 3 weeks ago. Although she knew this she did it in her time. That was Miss Flossie.... On June 26, 2013 I was blessed to foster Flossie after she was surrendered to the shelter by her family after one of the kids who had repeatedly keep letting Flossie and the other dog out the gate without the parents knowing. Once again, I couldnt stand back and watch this beautiful girl who was 10 years old be let down by humans. I want to thank Sally H for temping her till the weekend so I could figure out how I was go ma handle 4 dogs after my initial plan when I started fostering was a limit of 2. I must say Flossie was by far the easiest foster to date, her carefree attitude just made her easement into the pack so simple. She affectingly became known as Flossie the Bossy, as she would gently remind you of dinner time if you happen to be a little late. Everyone who have meet her knows she was a full figured gal and one day shortly after she arrived I was making a couple of sandwiches and I went into the other room round the corner and no sooner had I got there here come Miss Flossie carrying one of my sandwiches... little stinker.... Even though we only had a year and half together it felt like she had always been here. She will be missed incredibly by me with ever so happy and her uncontrollable locker.... Miss Flossie I am sure you know how much we loved you and I hope it was a joyous reunion with my Dad and all my other fur babies who have passed before you... Run free and whole and until we meet again at the Bridge rest well baby girl... The first picture was Flossies BIN picture and a couple more I could pick out trying to see through the river of tears.
