It is with very heavy heart that I announce the passing of my father in law from my first marriage, and grandfather to my children Amber, Bobby and Jade. He passed away this morning. Although he was my father in law, he was always considered Dad because I have known him since I was about 17 yrs old. I have stayed in the family all these years and I am so saddened by this news. He was known for his pranks and crankiness, but that is who he was.... He used to make a killer Beef Pepper Steak with Rice, and as time went on, I would ask him to tell me how he made it. Unfortunately, with age, comes forgetfulness, and I remember when I asked him how he made it, he said Whats that?..I wanted to cry!! It was what I always asked him to make, and he would give in and make it sometimes because I asked. Chili was his other well known and loved food he made. Thankfully I did pay attention to when he made the Pepper Steak and almost have it down pat...From this day forward, it will now be referred to as Dad Hegers Pepper Steak in my life. Rest in Peace Dad....you are now with Donnie and Bill among so many that have passed. Bet you all got a card game started already! 2014 is ending on a very sad note for me, but please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers for what they are going through now. Lisa Cobren, ,Glenda Kovac, Dorinda Nothnagel and my first husband Troy Cobren, my thoughts, prayers and heart are with you today and always, and to Mom - Annette Heger, I am and always will be here for you and to my children Jade Taylor Amber Bischoff and Annette Flores ( Bobby), I am thinking of you all today and so sorry for the loss of your grandpa, and to the rest of my extended family. Rest in Peace Dad - I love you.
