It is written, they who are born of the Spirit are a spirit (are the children of the Spirit, Who are the children of God Who Himself is a Spirit) and they who are born of the flesh (the children of the flesh who are not the children of God Romans 9; eight) are flesh (John 3; 5 - 7). For the flesh profits nothing (John 6; 63) and cannot please God (Romans Eight; eight). The flesh and the Spirit (God John 4; 24, and those who are a spirit because they are born of the spirit) are contrary to (the opposite of) one another (Gal. 5; 17), for these 2 do persecute (wars against) one another (Gal, 4: 29) ! The flesh cannot enter into, see, or inherit the Kingdom of God (that is within us Luke 17; 21) (1 Cor. 15; 50), but is handed over to the devil for destruction so the spirit (they who are born of the Spirit and are themselves a spirit) might be saved (1 Cor. 5; 5). Therefore, put off the old outward man of the flesh and put on the new Inward Spirit Man from above Who is Christ our Lord (Eph. 4; 22 - 24, Romans Eight; 1). For if we are in the Spirit (in God John 4; 24, in the Word Who is God John 1; 1, 2), let us also walk in and live by the Spirit. For the Spirit mortifies (kills, crucifies, puts to permanent rest) the deeds, works, lusts, cares and desires of the flesh (Romans Eight; 13), so we no longer obey or fulfill the lusts, cares or desires of our flesh (Gal. 5; 16) ! Man is not his flesh body in which he dwells in, but a living soul or a spirit being (Gen. 2; 7), created in the image and likeness of God (Gen. 1; 26, 27) Who Himself is a Spirit (John 4; 24), Who has not flesh and bones (Luke 24; 39). If man was his body, he or she could not be absent from their body to be present with the Lord ! The temple created without hands is not our body created by flesh parents, but our living soul created by and for God ! We are NOT born of the flesh, of men or of the world but of and by God (John 1; 13), Who is the Word (John 1; 1, 2) Whom we are born again by (1 Peter 1; 23, James 1; 18) !
