It just breaks my heart to know that everything Im doing so that I can impact Black children/adolescents and families; things that my friends are doing to make things better for our community takes TIME. That we may not see the fruit of our work for years and meanwhile more and more lives will be discarded. Every time it becomes more discouraging and I feel so helpless. Lord please give us the strength to press on in spite of. Somehow we must not give up.
