It just doesn’t seem right to have a day filled with so much excellent, God-honoring teaching and not share it! Some truths from my day: From Van Berkbigler at Calvary Chapel Marysville, three ways to keep from stumbling or wobbling: seek and be filled with the Holy Spirit, read (and live out) God’s word, and draw near and actively participate in a church that lifts up Jesus. I loved your straight forward message today, Van, and have been able to share it with several others throughout the day. From Todd, at LifeChurch 360 (Big Daddys Big Adventure): when the music fades and all else fades away, it’s very simple, we are to love others. “Live to Love!” Another clear, straight forward message from someone living it, not just teaching it. If you don’t know Todd, you should follow him on Big Daddy’s Big Adventure. You will be blessed and will be encouraged to put things into perspective. From Narnia, The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, we watched as a family tonight: Jesus died while we were still sinners to show his love for us. (Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”) Our family talked about all these truths and the opportunities we have coming up to share these truths with people. As kids head back to school, as we go back to work, as I go to my numerous appointments and eventually surgery later this month, we are filled with opportunities to reach others that are hurting. Thank you, Dear Lord, for the opportunity to serve you and be used by you.
