It kindve sucks that Im turning 21 I mean I am no fan of birthdays regardless of significance, hell I was forced to celebrate my 18th despite my complainants because it had some sort of importance to it like you can legally drink now which would have been cool had I already not been drinking for the previous 5 years every other weekend because I had been working a job since I was 12 and had the available resources. It gets me because at 21 I have achieved the sum total of nothing outside of some achievements in video games and a horrible desk job. And mediocre is the worst place to be when the current landscape dictates that all people my age neatly fall into young professional with optimism and ambition and goals and complete failures that the news likes to highlight as the falling standard of modern society like an easy target to discuss every slow news week. (Looking at you a current affair) Now there is a very good chance I will achieve nothing with my life and I am ok with that now, I accept that I as an individual have missed the boat and unlike many of my heroes who I look up lack the skills, temperament or opportunities to truly got out and truly change anything on even a small level in the world. I will as so many around in my office will be dead eyed as I drift slowly through the void of day-to-day, making copies of copies to archive the copies in case anyone wants a copy of the copy. I just really...I really dislike my birthday, a lot.
