It looks like SoCal will be in the black! Of course we never can be sure until its over, but it looks like were going to surpass the registration point where were not concerned about the event losing money. As most of you know, SoCal Swordfight is targeted to be affordable to locals who arent necessarily in the demographic that flies to regional HEMA events. We take a risk by keeping our registration so low, but so far that risk has paid off with good gatherings of friends. Because were entering the safe(er) zone for the event financially, we are going to hold the early registration discount price all the way. However, the $45 day-pass no longer includes a T-shirt (that was CRAZY!), and the 3-Day registration will only include the T-shirt up to Friday March 7th.
