It looks like we do have a new addition to Sanctuary Grove. A young Tuxedo male cat (about 6 months old?) found us and is joining our clutter of cats. The really odd part is that he is of the same lineage, I am pretty sure. He has the same markings (a zipper up his leg,) the same disposition (super friendly,) and the same genetic crook in the end of his tail as many of the lineage from the cats we brought with us from Fountain Square. I think he is related. Smokey, Fuzzle, and Ed all have that crooked last tail joint, as does Michaels brothers cat in Fountain Square. It is a family trait. Trudy, Mr. Special Eds grandmother, was a feral cat from Fountain Square and she was pregnant when we brought her here. We were going to spay her after she weaned her kittens, but she disappeared before we could. We assumed she was dead since she has not been seen for about 2 years, but it seems as though she is out there, still making babies. I have mixed feelings about that because of the over population issues with cats, but it is nice to know that lineage lives on. And I was just thinking the other day how it was a shame to have spayed and neutered out such a great line of cats... I guess I didnt, after all... Now, how this cat knew to come here, that is a mystery, unless you believe in genetic memories, or manifestation... It seems as though my life is destined to be full of surprise kittens! Worse things could happen.
