It makes me sad beyond measure to see another little black girl crying the same tears that I cried. But my Momma was tough. Wouldnt let me cry...said you cant cry and fight at the same time and if it is wrong then fight to change it This is the way I learned MANY MANY lessons in life. What my mother called Lessons in the Mirror...you get one you and aint nobody got to like you but you... cause just by waking up in the morning your very breath offends those that would hate you with no cause, You got to keep your eyes open, your hands clean and heart right so you can shake them off like dust under your feet, stand tall and proud and LIVE ON to SPITE them...everybody in life that hates you wont always be white, they just the easy ones to spot. Them that love you gonna love you regardless and them that hate you is gonna do just the same...they dont need no reason and if you being black is the one they choose so beit...thats how God made you so obviously them aint the folk for ya ~Lessons in the Mirror Reola Grant
