It makes me sad that so many people NOW are talking about depression bc Robin Williams took his own life- and two years ago when innocent school children were shot-THEN people wanted to talk about mental illness. For those of us that suffer from depression on a daily basis, and are told to suck it up, get over it, eat some chocolate, or my favorite, its not a disease.- I hope maybe now when someone thinks to themselves, maybe that person is depressed or maybe that person needs to see that priest for a reason that they dont judge and talk about it like a scandal, but rather reach a hand out to that person and let them know they care. Lets be honest- that could have been me hanging 9 months ago. To be quite honest- thats a very scary thing!
