It makes no sense to accuse Leftists of hypocrisy because they give little to charity. Hypocrisy is not a mere failure to live up to ones ideals. That is an expression of humanity, not an expression of hypocrisy. Hypocrites are flawed in a different but more serious way. They say things they dont really believe. Barack Obama doesnt believe in charity. He believes in helping the poor through redistribution of wealth - accomplished through government force. In other words, he prefers theft over charity. So dont accuse him of hypocrisy when he fails to give copious amounts of money to charity. He doesnt believe in that. Be fair to the man. Dont call him a hypocrite. Call him a thief.
