It makes one wonder whether there are, by percentage or sheer numbers, more idiots and morons in America today than at any time in history, or if it has stayed constant throughout since the beginning of the Republic. Id like to think there are fewer and that its simply a function of the ability to demonstrate stupidity on a much larger scale due to social media, cable news networks and the 24/7/365 media/celebrity culture we live in. On the other hand, I might just be giving too much credit to evolution.
