It never ceases to amaze me how portable we humans are! No matter where I go, when the subject comes up where I live, I will inevitably meet someone that knows someone that has lived in Missouri or they have lived there themselves. Like yesterday, I went to an Airport and audited an Aviation Fixed Base Operation. The Presidents name was Bill James, which was unique since we also have a Bill James living in Miner. When I mentioned it, he told me that he knew a Mr. Gleason (I recognized that name too from a local cable company) and asked me to tell him Hi. The very next audit I went to, the lady asked me where I was from because of my accent? I told her Missouri and her in-laws live in Branson, she and her husband plan on visiting there this summer. When I was in Alaska, the same thing happened many times. I love hearing the stories and meeting all the new people. Quite an interesting job indeed!
