It occurs to me that if you had looked at the photos in my newsfeed from five years ago, when I was doing tv in New York, you would find me in full makeup wearing $400 dresses (rarely more than once!) and brightly colored suit jackets with pearls. Always the pearls. Now my newsfeed is basically just a collection of barefaced yoga poses in American Apparel stretch pants and Coobie jog bras. I havent gone shopping for fancy (read: expensive) dresses in ... ummm ... a very, very long time. More or less since my reality show ended, I think. You know what? Both eras were fun. Both were me. Both were/are challenging in their own ways. Im *really* glad I have that range. Although, frankly, Im a lot more comfortable now. ;-)
