It pains me to know that in 2014, the world still knows so little about depression. Society as a whole is ignorant to the immense suffering felt by people with this mental disease, & its not okay. Robin Williams spent so much of his time sharing laughter with SO MANY people, all while he was in so much pain. Nobody recognized his sorrow due to the daily mask of joy that he wore. So many people are among us right now, fighting the same battle. It hurts to know that someone so good is gone, while so many worthless piece of shit celebrities remain. I wish that everyone could reflect on this for a moment. We need to stop being so offensive, cold, & demeaning. Smile at strangers, be kind, take an extra freaking MINUTE of your life to motivate another person. Eliminate evil intentions & make room to build others up... Life is far too short for anyone to feel so badly about it. Stand up & give people a reason to live.
