It really sickens me when people blame the dog/breed. Even people are unpredictable. Saying that pitbulls make you nervous is like saying black people make me nervous. Discrimination isnt just for people. Animals get discriminated against all the time. Even the most well behaved family men have snapped and become serial killers. Just as the most well behaved, lovable dogs should not be messed with. Regardless, if you know the dog or not, You dont provoke an animal, nor a person, in any way and not expect a reaction. For example, if you punch someone(man/woman/animal) EXPECT to be hit/bit back. If youre all up in a persons face, they even snap at you like, GET TF OUTTA MY FACE!! So will an animal. Know the signs and keep an eye on your child/animal/children and teach/train them not to interact with strange people, as well as animals, and never to provoke an animal or person. And if you dont trust the situation, stay away from it. If people taught these things, we could avoid most accidental attacks. THEN, we could teach about how abusing animals is wrong because RESPECT of the animal has already been instilled.
