It seems I cant comment on the photographs of the 2 cars parked on Whitehouse Road. I would like to clarify that the Focus does not belong at that house, it was a parent collecting a child. This doesnt happen on a regular basis outside my house, it was a simple mistake and was only going to be for a couple of minutes. Im sure all of those who have commented on the pictures will at one point in their lives made a mistake. I understand the mans frustration, being a childminder and sometimes having a double pushchair to manoeuvre round parked cars but to start suggesting it is owners being lazy and not using the drive is simply untrue. I also work with young wheelchair users and I would fight for their rights and argue to get their voices heard. And can see that if this was a persistent problem, occurring at the same spot / address then the issue needs to be tackled. I know that if the parent was to going to stay for a longer period they would use my driveway but as it was merely to collect a child, then parking on that part of the path isnt an issue (I do agree the parking could have been better) However, when leaving my house and realising the path was obstructed, the parent did apologise and moved the vehicle immediately. I appreciate everyone has their own opinion on the matter but I felt the need to clarify that it wasnt deliberate or laziness of a house owner but a genuine mistake which Im sure we are all guilty of, whether it be parking or something else!!!
