It seems I have been banned from the comments section of a webcomic that is ending in another month. Why, you ask? Because, on another webcomic forum, I expressed concern that the artist on that one was overworking (He cranks out an amazing amount of stuff every week) and that the strain was starting to show in his work. Apparently the other artist, who runs the forum Ive now been banned from, took decided umbrage at such a comment, found me rude and insulting, crawled through my Disqus posts to find terrible things Ive said in the past (which were pretty lame, actually), and in the course reminded me that *he* was (Firstname)-M*******king-(LastName), which I gather was to impress and put the fear of God in me. Seriously, when did reading comprehension become such a task? Getting banned from a comic ending in about a month is no big deal in the grand scheme of things; in fact its kinds funny when you think about it. But according to (F)M(L), one is *not* to comment on the artists work. The content, the writing, thats all fair game. But not the art. Not even as concerned feedback. I find that really, really... weird. Heck, I dont care if folks complained about my guys having three fingers. It took me a few years, but I fixed it, and now its all good. If no one complained, I never would have known, right? :: le sigh :: Artists are so weird sometimes.....
