It seems far-fetched but we dont tell stories... A vehicle being driven down the wrong side of the Southern Outlet, Hobart at about 1.28am was intercepted by police this morning. Several other vehicles on the Outlet had to swerve to avoid collision. If you were one of those drivers doing the right thing but had to take evasive action, police would like to speak with you. The driver of the offending White Triton Dual Cab Ute, a 62 year old man from Franklin, was charged in relation to multiple driving offences. Police would like to hear from any motorists who were travelling on the Southern Outlet early this morning and who may have witnessed the White Triton tavelling on the incorrect side of the Southern Outlet between Kingston and Hobart. Police can be contacted on 131 444 in relation to this matter.
