It seems like vendors are easy prey these days within automotive circles and networks of social media... But what is wrong with a long standing consumer information resource like Edmunds getting innovative? Launching new products like this "Price Promise" dealer offering seems like a good example of a consumer and OEM focused blue chip becoming more creative in developing products and services for car dealers. For those of you who still gripe about the amount of invoice and hold-back info that Edmunds provides, I say; "Learn how to sell cars!" Which I base on the fact that I have personally sold HUNDREDS of new and used vehicles using Edmunds as a reliable non-dealer third party information resource. True Market Value (TMV)? That is probably the most effective tool I have ever used with car buyers who want to shop price, so I could get a confident commitment From them on what type of deal they WOULD BUY TODAY for... Several dealer clients I work with are signing up for this new Edmunds Price Promise inventory display based marketing tool... If it helps us sell more cars and customer become more comfortable with comi g I to the dealership, then I would not be shy about calling Price Promise a winner!
